Shoreham Airport is the oldest licensed airport in the country. With its Art Deco terminal and informal atmosphere, it has a charm all of its own. Its location between the sea and the South Downs, just to the west of Brighton, adds to the feeling of air travel as it used to be. No queues, no lengthy formalities and no need to get to the airport hours before departure. If you do require accommodation please see Shoreham Airport’s recommended hotels
Check-in is in Terminal 3 just to the right/east of the main Art Deco terminal building as you face the airfield. Whether you enter the airfield from the north A27 or coastal road it is about half way along the only road running through the airport.
Shoreham is very accessible by car or train. The airport is located on the A27 between Brighton and Worthing and once you reach the airport, parking is very cheap and within yards of your aircraft. Parking is pre-paid at £2 a day as you check-in.
